A slit-dress or slit skirt usually has an opening as depicted, and can be found on long or short dresses and skirts. A mini-skirt or mini-dress is a short skirt or dress, usually five or six inches above the knee. Fishnets refer to stockings or pantyhose generally "criss-crossed" in pattern as shown. The micro-mini is an extremely short skirt or dress. Knee-high boots are boots raised up to or above the knee. A stiletto heel is a high thin heel on a woman's shoe that is narrower than a spike heel. A pointed-toe refers to a woman's shoe with a narrow or pointed toe. Open-toed, as the images depict, refers to the shoe open at the toe -- a popular style of high heel. Stay up stockings do not require suspenders or similar attachments to hold the stockings up the thighs. Sandals are usually casual shoes, open-toed, with straps.
